Why Jio Airtel Vi are Increasing Prices?

Jio, Airtel, and Vi have raised their mobile tariffs to fund 5G services and increase their Average Revenue per User (ARPU). The hikes, effective July 3, 2024, for Jio and Airtel, and July 4, 2024, for Vi, range from 10-27%. Unlimited calling plans increased by about 11%, and data plans saw significant hikes.
