I took Maddie to get her hair braided three years ago, and Lucca's been waiting for her turn ever since. This time was pretty cool 'cause someone came to our house to do the braiding, which was way different from Maddie's barbershop experience.

A lot has changed since Maddie got her braids—she's in grade school now. I've been really curious to see what her friends and teachers would think about Maddie and Lucca's new looks. I've been wondering how it'll go.

This whole thing has been pretty exciting for me. Seeing my girls try new styles and grow up is a trip. I love seeing how they express themselves and handle new experiences like this.
