Revolutionise Oil Analysis: MiniLab 53 Automated Industrial Analyzer by Spectro Scientific & SciMed

Описание к видео Revolutionise Oil Analysis: MiniLab 53 Automated Industrial Analyzer by Spectro Scientific & SciMed

Learn about the MiniLab 53, a modular design by Spectro Scientific for on-site oil analysis, in this informative YouTube video by product manager Tom. Oil analysis is crucial for managing machinery uptime, and the MiniLab 53 offers lab-quality data in minutes. It comprises the FluidScan 1000 portable IR spectrometer, the MiniVisc 3000 viscometer, and the LNF 200 particle analyzer, which provide data on all facets of the oil condition trivector for oil conditioning chemistry.

The TruVu software platform enables users to define an asset tree, schedule tests, and customize maintenance actions, while the dashboard is useful for monitoring oil consumption and plotting maintenance savings. The video emphasizes the importance of timely analysis and data collection to avoid costly breakdowns. The MiniLab 53 is an efficient and cost-effective solution that offers lab-quality data on-site. Long-term support is available from SciMed, including in-house expertise, training, and three levels of service contract.

This video is a valuable resource for anyone interested in MiniLab 53, Spectro Scientific, oil analysis, lubricant analysis, condition monitoring, fluid analysis, miniature lab, portable lab, oil testing equipment, spectrometer, wear particle analysis, oil quality analysis, on-site testing, maintenance optimisation, and predictive maintenance.

Hi, everyone. My name is Tom. I'm one of the product managers here at SciMed, I wanted to give you an overview of the Mini Lab 53 from Spectro Scientific for the purpose of oil condition monitoring. Now in the majority of reliability and predictive maintenance programs, in-service oil condition monitoring is a key technique to manage critical machinery uptime.

And is it not uncommon for machinery condition to change significantly in short periods of time? Minimising the time between analysis and data collection to maintenance decision-making is particularly important to avoid any unforeseen and potentially costly breakdowns. To address this Spectro Scientific range of onsite oil analysis technologies offer lab quality data right to the point of sampling in a matter of minutes, the Mini Lab 53 is a modular design consisting of three instruments that all combine to inform on all three facets of the oil condition trivector for oil conditioning chemistry.

We have the fluid scan, which is a portable infrared spectrometer measuring parameters such as TAN, TBN, oxidation and water, with the aim to assess if the oil is still fit for use, which can also avoid unnecessary and potentially costly oil changes. This is complemented by the mini viscometer offering high accuracy, kinematic viscosity at 40 degrees and reporting at 100 degrees.

And finally, the LNF particle analyser where direct laser imaging offers particle counts, size distributions and ISO codes in addition to subdividing wear shape classifications that can provide actionable data on machine health and where critical maintenance activities may need to be focused. Now, this mini lab is made all the more powerful, with the addition of the True View 360 software platform that allows for the definition of an asset tree, which can include site locations, number and types of assets right down to sampling points and from which where tests can be scheduled and results trended over time and also where diagnostic sets and limits and recommended maintenance actions can be customised by the user, which really helps to close that feedback loop, which can often be missing between the analyst and the onsite maintenance engineers. The dashboard of the software is also particularly useful to monitor oil and fluid consumptions in addition to plotting maintenance savings with the added efficiency of having that onsite oil analysis right there at your site. So I made were also dedicated to the long term support of these technologies where we can offer in-house expertise for training and support as well.

Have our three level of service contract to ensure instruments are well maintained and serve their users for many years. I hope that's all been useful. Please do reach out to us if you have queries and you can find more detailed and practical videos on each of the instruments shown here in the links below. Thanks very much for your time today.
