Redcat Racing 1/6th Shredder!! Motor and servo swap plus GPS speed run and more!

Описание к видео Redcat Racing 1/6th Shredder!! Motor and servo swap plus GPS speed run and more!

Update: Back to the stock motor - the X-Teams motor is a little too high on KV rating. Going to get another speed run sometime with the setup now, which is the stock 1300KV motor and an 18T pinion gear. The X-Teams motor is now in the Nitro / Samurai / Zorro with the 14T pinion so, more speed runs soon - stay tuned!!

Redcat Shredder - light mods. Not super fast but quick enough. Belting the tires will absolutely help raise the top speed, so I'll see if that proves to help off-road like it does on-road. 2650KV X-Team motor, much higher top speed now. The 13T pinion doesn't cog until the battery starts getting low, so I may put the 12T on and see; if that affects speed too much, I'll just keep it at 13T. I didn't mention it in the video, but my rear shock pre-load is maxed out, still not enough to keep it from bottoming out.. Might have to find stiffer springs, OR, change the oil weight. No idea what weight is in it now, kinda leaky - it's pretty light though.

Definitely recommend this one! My first 1/6th scale - HUGE truggy. I wasn't expecting the size honestly - but it's impressive! Making this move that quick is kind of scary actually. I'd like to see what 6s would be like so a 6s ESC will be next!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/313781819108... - X-Team motors, many sizes. 3674 is the stock size, wondering if I can fit a 4079 motor in there...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/295104748120 - 80A 2-4s ESC, replacement if need be. Not Redcat / Hobby Wing, but by Surpass Hobby. Have had a few of their ESC's and motors; very effective and cost efficient!
