How to Continuously quilt the Churn Dash blocks - Barn Dance quilt - Part 3

So many design possibilities when it comes to custom quilting. Follow along as Dorie takes one last look at the block designs in the Barn Dance Quilt. Then watch as she stitches out one of the churn dash blocks from start to finish, with one start and one stop, using 5 different rulers.

All designs are quilted free-hand on a APQS Millennium longarm quilting machine but these designs and techniques can also be accomplished on a sit-down machine.

Dorie designed a group of grid stencils that are measured on the Diagonal, not the straight side like you see with most grid stencils made for crosshatching. They come in 1'', 2'' & 3'' Square, 1'', 2'' & 3'' Diamond, and 1/2'' & 1'' Triangle. Because these stencils are measured on the Diagonal, they will fit within any space that is measured by the full inch. The 2'' square stencil was used to pre-mark the background area of the Barn Dance quilt.
