Xenon is the last non-radioactive noble gas in our series. Xenon may be a noble gas, but it can be forced to participate in chemical reactions. It's used in camera strobes, projector lamps, was instrumental in the invention of the laser, and is also used in ion engines to propel spacecraft. Xenon is even used to find WIMPs (you have to watch the episode to find out what THIS means!) Pretty interesting for a standoffish element!
