Chana Sprouts Pulao
If you are running short on veggies for pulao, this is a healthy and delicious option to try… with some pre-planning of course. Sprouting brown chana increases their nutritional value manifolds. We all know that sprouts are healthy for our body but if you get a chance, do check for “benefits of sprouting”.
Ingredients:
Oil, 1 Tbsp
Jeera, 1/2 Tsp
Onions, 1-2
Moti Elaichi, 1
Tej Patta, 1
Dalchini, 1 pc
Chopped tomatoes, 2
Garam Masala
Chana Sprouts, 200g
Soaked Rice, 1 Cup
Water, 2.5 Cups
Kheera Raita
Cucumber plus yogurt is good medicine for indigestion and constipation. secondly, cucumber is abundant with water and is good source of vitamin c. moreover it is also a good source of fibre which also helps in constipation. lastly, the roasted cumin seeds which is added is good source of iron and helps to release pancreatic juice which improves digestion.
Ingredients:
Curd, 100g
Grated Cucumber, 1
Salt to taste
Chilli power, 1/2 Tsp
Chaat Masala, 1/2 Tsp
Jeera Powder, 1/2 Tsp
Beetroot to garnish
Kachumber Salad:
Kachumber is a super easy, simple, zesty, fresh and colourful salad containing a mix of onions, tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro or mint, green chillies and a few spices brought together with a tangy lemon juice. I although added Beetroot to it as well.
One of the great joys of kachumber is that it is made without any dressing and there is no oil or fat included in this salad. The seasonings, herbs and spices are simply mixed with the veggies.
