Sunday Walk in the Suburbs of an English City | HULL, ENGLAND

Join me as we take a relaxing Sunday morning stroll through the suburbs of the city of Hull in East Yorkshire, England.

This walk takes us around the quiet suburban streets on the western outskirts of Kingston upon Hull close to the border of Cottingham village. Just off Bricknell Avenue, this residential area of the city is close to Wyke Sixth Form College, Appleton Woods and Bricknell playing fields, as well as a larger area of green fields where the city boundaries end, and the village begins.

This area has plenty of council housing for low income families as well as residential homes for the elderly, and in between there are houses built after the second world war which accommodate people from many different work sectors.

The train line which carries passengers to and from Hull city centre runs parallel to the small woods and playing fields.

Watch until the end to see the amusing grey squirrel leaping through the trees in Appleton Woods.
