Before i came here to India. My SO already informed me what i will deal with when i come to India. How people will treat me. How will i react to it. So this kind of situation is just like a normal thing for me. Being called as chinese by kids is not racist for me. Because they really don’t know where is Philippines. Why i have small eyes. They are confused so i must tell and educate them. So i explain myself. I thought they will know Taiwan. So i said. I am taiwanese. (Since filipino ancestors are really from Taiwan and i lived there for 8 years)They don’t know. Then i said Philippines. They also don’t know. It’s kinda funny how these kids are really curious. I will not get tired of telling Indians that we are not CHINESE but we are all from same DNA (mongoloid). So most of us have small eyes. But above all southeast asian. We Filipino from Philippines have the biggest eyes because we have mixed with spanish.
