"Welcome to this Word Swag tutorial! Today, I’m going to show you how to easily crop an image using the latest update. Let’s get started!
First, open the Word Swag app. Right under the words 'Get Started,' you’ll see an option to select your project format. This is where you choose the output size for your image. Whether you're creating a YouTube cover, an Instagram post, a Facebook story, or content for TikTok, Snapchat, or Pinterest, Word Swag has you covered.
For this example, I’m going to choose Facebook Stories, which is a vertical format. But feel free to choose the format that best suits your project.
Next, I’ll select an image to work with. You can choose a photo from the ‘Free Photos’ section, pick one from your camera roll, or even snap a new photo with your camera. I’m going to select a free photo, but you can search for something specific using the search bar at the top.
Once your image is selected, you might want to focus on a particular part or crop it to better fit your design. To do this, tap the ‘Image’ button at the bottom of your screen, then select ‘Crop.’
Now, tap ‘Crop & Move Image.’ Use one finger to slide the image around, or use two fingers to zoom in on a specific area. Once your image is positioned just right, tap ‘Done’ at the top right corner.
And that’s it! Your image is cropped and ready for further edits. You can now continue to customize your design’s text, frame, and format all within the same screen.
Thanks for watching this tutorial! Stay tuned for more tips and tricks on how to make the most of Word Swag’s latest update!
