The Nightingale, normally a Bb Cornet Solo, but here as a Soprano Cornet Solo featuring Geoff Hawley, a very talented and underated Soprano Cornet player Accompanied by the Thoresby Colliery Band.

I sat in on the back row at Shirebrook Band many years ago and Geoff was depping on the front row Solo Cornet bench. He played it all on his Soprano Cornet, often transposing at sight !
