DIY Reformation Dress | Cottagecore Dress For Beginners | Thrills and Stitches

Spring has sprung (finally) and it calls for a flowy, flowery DIY Reformation style dress.

I would definitely describe this as a cottage core dress and it's perfect for Sunday roasts with your friends, birthday parties in parks and it might even be a nice wedding guest outfit.

The dress lives from its puffy sleeves, flowy skirt, and overall whimsical look.

I focused on explaining everything in detail as best as I could and I hope this will help you to create your own Reformation inspired dress!

Bodice block tutorial: https://inthefolds.com/blog/2016/2/22... - it's also been used by WithWendy in her 'Is it perfect?' series.

Correction: it’s ditsy florals, not ditzy florals of course :)

I am using the Brother Innov-Is A16 sewing machine (it's new ♡) and a Brother overlocker.
