Welcome to The Healthy Kitchen!
Today's recipe is fat free chicken korma. Korma has its roots in the Mughlai cuisine of the Indian subcontinent. A characteristic Mughal dish, it can be traced back to the 16th century and to the Mughal incursions into the region. It is very easy to cook at home with basic ingredients and it is finger licking tasty. On this channel, we don't compromise on health or taste, we give you the best of both worlds. We hope that you would like trying our recipes.

INGREDIENTS:
Korma:
700g Chicken with bones
2 tbsp ginger-garlic (Adrak Lehsan)
1½ tsp red chili powder (Lal mirch powder)
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric (haldi)
2 medium tomatoes - blended
8 green chilies
½ cup low fat yogurt
2 medium Onions ( Air fried)
1 tsp garam masala

NOTE: Herbs and spices are used to add flavor to foods and they are extremely low in calories.

WRITTEN RECIPE:
-Take a pot, add chicken, ginger garlic (crushed), spices (salt, red chili powder and turmeric), blended tomatoes, green chilies (crushed) and low fat yogurt. Mix it well. And let it sit for 15 minutes to half an hour at room temperature (or refrigerate)
-Put the pot on the stove on medium heat and cover and cook for 15-20 minutes. Chicken usually takes 15-20 minutes to cook on medium heat but it can vary from stove to stove, you can adjust according to your stove adjustment.
-Now take air fried onions and ¾ cup water, blend it and add the onion mixture into the korma. Mix it well and cook for a couple of minutes.
-Add Garam masala (ground spices) and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes. Delicious oil free chicken korma is ready without any fuss and with basic ingredients.

HOW TO SERVE:
It is best served with naan or roti but it can also be taken with boiled rice. But make sure not to take more than the serving size of roti to stay healthy. To watch the serving size, calorie count and a complete guide of how to make a roti click here:
