Injunction is an order of the court that prohibits a party from doing a particular act or to order the party to do a specific act. Injunction is an equitable relief granted to a party who has suffered or will suffer irreparable injury, loss, or damage due to the actions of another party.

Permanent injunction is a final order granted by the court, which prohibits a party from doing a particular act or to order the party to do a specific act. It is granted only after the merits of the case are fully considered by the court. Permanent injunctions can be mandatory or prohibitory in nature.

A mandatory injunction is an order of the court that requires the party to do a specific act. It is issued when a party has violated an obligation that requires him to perform a specific act.

A prohibitory injunction is an order of the court that prohibits a party from doing a particular act. It is issued when a party is likely to cause irreparable harm or injury to the plaintiff if he continues to do a particular act.

The provisions for granting injunctions are provided under Order 39 of the CPC.
