Mort Utley Sales School Keynote

In 1956, Mr. Fred Landers for whom Landers Plaza (Southwestern Family of Companies global headquarters) in named, invited his lifelong friend Mort Utley to speak at Southwestern Sales School. It was the first of what became 35 years of speaking to Southwestern groups. During that time he made more than 1,000 speeches to over 100,000 student reps on how to get more out of both their Southwestern experience and their lives.
Mort's expertise was not only in speaking but also in sales. As a sales executive in the life insurance industry, he grew his company by a billion dollars in ten years. Mort then moved to a brand new company and helped it grow to $100M faster than any competitor had done before.
Mort was world-renowned as a professional speaker – giving more than 9,000 speeches to groups in small companies to fortune 500 firms. He earned the CPAE designation from the National Speakers Association – the highest honor a professional speaker can achieve.
