Salt Creek-Bluegrass Banjo

Описание к видео Salt Creek-Bluegrass Banjo

Salt Creek is a great tune to play out at jams, super fun to play! This tune comes from the Scots-Irish/oldtime fiddle tune, named Salt River. Someone once told me that Salt Creek was renamed by Bill Monroe after the actual Salt Creek in Indiana where he first played music professionally. This tune lays out on the banjo fingerboard really well and you can pop in some scruggs licks and melodic style runs! I tried to play this fast and then slow, but my slow didn't end up being that slow! Oh well, Just in case you don't know, you can adjust the tempo even further with the little wheel at the bottom right hand side of the screen. Thanks for watching!

I love this banjo! I’ve had it for about 10 years now and I play it a lot! It’s a Stelling, Red Fox.
