Oaxaca Old Fashioned | A Modern Classic Tequila & Mezcal Cocktail

The Oaxaca Old Fashioned is a Modern Classic Tequila & Mezcal Cocktail invented at Death & Co. It is essentially a Tequila Old Fashioned with some Mezcal Thrown in for good measure. It is a simple cocktail to make but very complex in its flavor. The combination of Reposado Tequila, Smoky Mezcal and Agave Syrup really make for a wonderful combination.

This cocktail has exploded in popularity over the last decade since or so and today can be found on menu's across the world. It is a cocktail that has cemented its place in cocktail history and lore. It is an incredible Tequila Old Fashioned Recipe.

Oaxaca Old Fashioned Recipe:

1.5 oz (45 ml) Reposado Tequila
0.5 oz (15 ml) Mezcal
1 Bar Spoon Agave
2 Dashes of Mole Bitters

Stir until properly diluted and chilled, pour over a large cube and garnish with an orange peel.
