Pistol Packin' Mama! Paint & Kit Review: Dead Man's Hand Gunfighters II [How I Paint Things]

Laura Bullion, Pearl Hart, 'Big Nose Kate' - the Old West had its share of female outlaws. Not just women who were skilled gunslingers for show, but those rare handful who put their talents to crime as well and come out the other end with success or infamy enough to be remembered into the 21st Century. It wasn't just outlaws who knew their way around a six-shooter, either. Many women that were homesteaders or ranchers had to handle 'scatterguns' and rifles as a matter of course - when your nearest neighbors were miles away you needed to be able to hold the fort if trouble arrived!

The upcoming release of the Gunfighters II box from Great Escape Games gives tabletop fans and miniature painters the option of including women in their western gaming, either as infamous outlaws or law-abiding citizens carrying a weapon to defend themselves.
