Italian car manufacturer Maserati re-enters India for a second innings.

MASERATI LAUNCH IN INDIA

In a country that lives under the shadows of luxury car brands like the Lamborghini, Mercedes, Audi and the likes. The Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati might have left only a faint impact in its first attempt to enter the market, but that is not the end; and they have re-entered to the much promising Indian car market.

In land with its growth strategy, Maserati’s renewed focus on Indian car market comes with full awareness of the significant potential that the market holds for the luxury car giant. For the uninitiated, Maserati is seen as the maker of some of the most gorgeous cars in the world. Only a few automakers in the world have been able to calculate the passion of a car in its design, and Maserati is definitely one of them. The Quattroporte and the Ghibli on display at the launch are with ease two of the most striking cars on the road. With its significant shoulder lines essentially flowing across the side profile of the cars and the beautifully crafted nose flirting with the lower that drives on the Maserati cars grip power and affluence like no other car on the road.

The line up includes Maserati’s first four door sports executive Sedan in the E segment the Ghibli, which will be available with a diesel motor. Then there is the sixth generation of the Quattroporte, which will come with both diesel and petrol engines. The GT and GT Convertible, which will be available with a petrol engine in standard and S frame and the Grand Caprio. The Quattroporte petrol will come with two petrol engine options and is the first car that will hit the market. The Ghibli will be launched later this year with a diesel engine and the plant introduce the V six petrol has been pushed to next year. The Ghibli will come with a price tag of Rupees 1.1 crore. The Italian Giant will start its second innings in the country with the help of three exclusive dealerships located in New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. And these will be operational by the third quarter of 2015.
