So, October didn't go exactly as I had planned..... it wasn't a great sales month for me, but let's talk about what went wrong and how to keep your sales from doing the same. I'm going to cover my total sales in October, my gross profit, my net profit, my cost of goods, and all of my sales that were above $35! What's in the video/what's going on in my life:

Poshmark is an app that is allowing me to fulfill my dreams of thrifting as a business, and I love to share with others just how they can make money selling on Poshmark whether that be by just selling clothes they have lying around the house, or reselling on Poshmark items that they buy specifically to resell on Poshmark. It is a fun and easy way to make a little extra cash, or even a lot of cash! :)

What sold for you guys on Poshmark and Mercari recently??

Why I thrift / resell:
I have such a fun time thrifting at Goodwill or at the Goodwill bins. Thrifting and reselling isn't about the money for me, it's about the adventure and what I can find. Thrifting at Goodwill means that you can find just about anything at a good price. If you make the trip to the Goodwill bins / Goodwill outlets, it requires more work, but it's easy to fund your thrifting obsession. The reselling and retail arbitrage of my thrift flip adventure started off as a way to just make my money back. Selling on Poshmark and Mercari not only funds my thrifting needs + gives me some extra spending cash, but it's starting to become a genuine way to make money. With enough work, thrifting and retail arbitrage can easily become my primary source of income. My husband and I both have jobs to support us, but the money we make from thrifting and reselling is growing pretty steadily. On top of that, I get such a thrill every time I sell something.

Why I sell on Poshmark:
Poshmark is an amazing resource, anyone interested in reselling should be using it. Poshmark is a user-friendly platform that allows the resellers to decide how involved they want to be. Poshmark gives it's sellers the opportunity to increase sales by sharing their listings and getting them in front of more eyes. It's an easy step that will help you increase your sales on Poshmark. The site has treated my husband and I really well as resellers. Poshmark is the platform that showed me that I can turn thrifting and reselling into a side hustle. It's helping me explore my passion for thrifting and make a living from it. If you like thrifting and the thrill of turning $1 to $30, I highly suggest you check out Poshmark. Why I started selling on Mercari:
Mercari has a few benefits that Poshmark doesn't. Mercari shows you a lot of data that you can use to improve your listings and get your content in front of more eyes. They show you vital information like click-through-rate (CTR) and how many of your listing views come from search. This is important information that could help you generate more sales on Mercari. If Poshmark would let you know this information, you could change up how you list. Cross-listing on Mercari can show you that you might need to add more information to your listing. A few more keywords could help you generate more sales on Poshmark and Mercari. The whole point of listing on both websites is that it provides valuable information that you can't get on just one site. On top of that, we get more impressions and eyes on the clothes and items that I'm trying to thrift & flip. It's incredibly hard to lose money on each listing if you are sourcing your listings from the Goodwill bins.
