One Minute Bunkai: Seisan #5

Описание к видео One Minute Bunkai: Seisan #5

This one legged stance (Ippon Ashi Dachi) is only seen in the Kyan-Ha version of Seisan practiced by the Seibukan dojo founded by the late Zenryo Shimabukuro. In this interpretation it is a defense against a kick to the mid section where the kick is caught and the attacker is thrown to the floor by a cavity strike/press above the knee using the lead hand. As the attacker’s leg is controlled (and he is on his back) It is immediately followed with a knee dislocation/break by using your lead knee as a fulcrum/lever. There are two possibilities of applying the lever, one is by putting your knee on the attackers knee while you are on one leg and all it takes is a quick action to dislocate. The second is to attain a much lower posture where both of your feet are on the floor, in this version you are still applying the same effect. This is a very violent action and extreme care needs to be taken when practicing this application.
