Diana Franschman, MS, BC-DMT, LCAT, CDP completed her master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy at Pratt Institute. She has over 10 years experience working with older adults, and with those dealing with dementia. Diana supervises graduate level creative arts therapy interns as well as other mental health students. Diana is a strong advocator for the residents residing at Menorah Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, where she provides support and education for patients and their families in dealing with loss and grief. In 2015 she was the recipient of the Essential Piece Award from the MJHS Foundation for her contribution and work of excellence. Diana is currently an adjunct professor at Kingsborough College teaching at the Department of Behavioral Science and Mental Health.
