Описание к видео Hubie Brown says new rules favor Warriors w/o Hand Checking arm bars!

This Curry is starting to annoy the crap out if me! Curry's having a phenomenal season, but there are contributing factors for his crazy shooting efficiency other than just his talent and should most definitely have an asterisk next to his accomplishments. Curry would be great in any era, but he would NOT be anywhere near as prolific, productive or efficient had he played in the physical era of hand checking & arms bars. Curry simply gets to run free as a bird without any resistance from the perimeter, aka "freedom of movement initiative." I mean, yah can't even lay a finger on these guys or it's a foul with today's creampuff rules. Today's defenders are forced to sag off being at the mercy of perimeter scorers & Curry is taking full advantage of it. Kudos to him. Bring back the old rules & Curry's 183 lb frame would get man-handled to a degree. Curry would still be a great player because he's that talented, but he'd be nowhere near as productive / efficient. This is basic common sense & basic laws of physics. This is not rocket science. Why do you think the NBA changed it's rules? They changed the rules, "to open up the game." Mission accomplished! I know this may be hard for some of you to believe, but Curry is not some alien from an advanced civilization with super-powers or a bionic genetically programmed super-human designed by NASA to be a sharp shooting sniper with Spidey senses. He is human! Curry is not the first NBA player to discover the art of shooting. It's enough already.

2004-05
• New rules were introduced to curtail hand-checking, clarify blocking fouls and call defensive three seconds * TO OPEN UP THE GAME.*

Notice how it clearly states in the new rules changes, "TO OPEN UP THE GAME." Again, the NBA wanted less resistance & easier scoring at the perimeter & they got it! Mission accomplished! Way to ruin the game! Teams are forced to help more than ever & as a result the NBA has become 1 big 3 point shooting contest & Harlem Globe Trotters dipsy-doo dribbling display w/o any resistance at the perimeter. If I wanted to see that, I'd wait till All-Star weekend! Bring back the old rules so defenders at least have a chance instead of being at the mercy of these offensive scorers! Smh!

Evidence: Not coincidentally, directly after the NEW rules were changed to completely eliminate hand checking at the perimeter and add the defensive 3 second violation to open up the lane, the leagues Offensive Rating drastically jumped from 102.9 to 106.1 from just the year before. That 3.2 increase in Offensive Rating is the largest increase in NBA history! So yes, the rules changes have obviously made a huge difference. It's just what the league wanted. Mission accomplished! Defenders are literally at the mercy of perimeter scorers these days because they simply cannot touch them w/o a foul being called, resulting in inflated stats everywhere. Bring back the old rules & watch these crazy numbers come back to Earth.

More evidence: It's no coincidence that immediately after these rules were changed in 2004, Kobe magically scored 81 pnts in a game, then 63 in 3 qtrs, then 9 straight 40+ pnt games, etc, etc, then Iverson's 9 straight 40 pnt games, scoring titles, etc, etc, then Tracy McGrady's scoring barrages, leading the NBA in scoring, etc, etc! Even little point guard Tony Parker led the NBA in 'Points In The Paint' 3/4 thru the 05-06 season becoming the 1st point guard ever accomplish that. I could go on forever. I could only imagine if defenders could not touch Michael Jordan. He'd average at least 45-50 ppg on 55-60% shooting! I don't need a crystal ball to know this. Again this is basic common sense & basic laws of physics.
