When installing large banners outdoors, such as the ones that will be displayed on the side of a building, using rigid flex brackets for installation is a quick and simple low cost solution to ensure your banner will last. These brackets also make it very easy to update the banners and graphics you display.

Rigid flex brackets can be used with vinyl or mesh banners, mesh is the most common. The brackets are far less intrusive to structures than drilling holes for every grommet.

These large banners will be finished with 3” pole pockets on all sides. You will then insert 1” conduit through the pole pockets on all edges of the banner. For every 10’ of conduit you will need at least two brackets.

Rigid Flex brackets are attached to the building or structure to frame the banner. The Tensioning J- hooks wrap around the conduit in the banner’s edges. Each J-hook is then tightened securely to make your banner taut. Applying strong, even tension across the perimeter of the banner transfers the wind load over the full area of the banner. This ensures longevity and prevents tearing, even through inclement weather.

When installed properly, your banner will last and display for years. For more information on Rigid Flex installation or ordering a giant banner of your own, contact your GH Sales Consultant, or visit ghimaging.com
