HOW DID YOU GET STARTED/WHEN IT BECAME SERIOUS:

(DP), “I started raping in elementary school. I got serious about writing and went from rapping at school, my house or with friends, in the bathrooms and doing freestyles, to actually going to the studio.”

HOW DID YOUR NAME COME ABOUT:

(DP), “I was actually incarcerated at the time in the feds. I thought to myself, we all hustlers everything is a hustle and we all born to hustle. So, I decided to come up with BHE which stands for Born Hustler Ent, cause we are all born hustlers since birth.”

WHAT MADE YOU PURSUE WHAT YOU ARE DOING:

(DP), “To have something of my own, have fun and make money with it. I rap, freestyle, sing a lil’ pop, trap type vibe stuff. Seen and always wanted it since a kid, so it’s what I did and got into for a very long time now. I make music and help artists make tracks. I do Spartanburg events every month.”

GOALS:

(DP), “Sell out gyms, big event venues in all cities, states. Have a team that can do anything and everything and become unstoppable. I want to have multiple incomes and streams coming in at once. I want to be able to get something and not worry about it the next week.”

LESSONS LEARNED:

(DP), “Be careful who you trust. Keep your next move to yourself. Not everyone is your friend. Don’t make same bad move twice. Work with each other, help each other. Use your friends and family as much as possible. Try not to do the same thing someone else just did. Come up with your own vibe and swag. Be creative and stand out. I do as much as possible, promo shorts, post stories, buying promo plays, DJ spins. Just keep doing it and do good content with the promo. I have others help me and mostly use Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. If you want good results cost most of time, nothing is free and prices always vary. Go as hard as you can. Promote, share, love as much as you can. Do not be scared to go for it. Make sure it makes sense and always stay on point. I record at “The Oven Studios, it’s $40/hr.” Vendors, “Trap Carolina. LAX. @upstatefootworkx. Area57. Rose Clothing. BHE Clothing. @woodbabygear. BBE Clothing.” DP Nation uses, “YouTube, Distrokid, Apple, Spotify”, to stream his music.
