This concert is historic because not only is it the 100th performance at Madison Square Garden but also also the very first time ever that Billy Joel’s has a full concert broadcasted on national network television. The concert special was shot at Joel’s record-breaking 100th consecutive performance at Madison Square Garden as part of his franchise run on March 28th 2024. Joel has sold out Madison Square Garden more than any other artist.

Since his first show at the venue on Dec. 14, 1978, through his final residency show this past July 2024, every single one of Joel’s concerts at Madison Square Garden has been sold out.
