Rescue 50 *Ride Along* 2 Calls - Crash Involving Tractor Trailer and Mulch Fire

Rescue 50 was dispatched to assist Station 54 (Lampeter) on a vehicle accident reported with entrapment involving a tractor trailer. The Rescue and Engine 54-3 arrived at the same time and assisted EMS with removing the patient who was not trapped. The crews then assisted with spill control and debris removal. While on scene a brush fire was dispatched at the McDonalds on Willow Valley Square. The Rescue and TAC responded from the accident. Unit arrived to find a small area of mulch smoking, and a water can was used to extinguish the fire. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 5/2/24

A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
