TIPS:
More challenging, just take your time with it!
Save money on one primer (as opposed B&W for Zenithal prime)
A "wet palette" will prevent paints from drying quickly.
A wet palette is easy to make!
Forgo contrast paint. Worth it? ...judge for yourself. 🤷
Start dark and get lighter with each layer
WATER DOWN YOUR ACRYLIC PAINT!
Begin with dark colors and work in lighter colors
Get your colors and consistency just right before touching the model
Don't use expensive brushes for mixing the paint.
WATER DOWN YOUR PAINTS!
Add as much water as you can without dripping
The underlying wash created a degree of natural shading
Darken base color, don't modify first highlight, lighten final highlight
Paint is darker dry than wet
Let the imperfections of the brush create texture
A big dry brush might not be worth it for a small miniature
A sealer makes the paint feel more "permanent" to touch
