Athlete: Yuri Van Gelder
The dutch gymnast who is specialized on the apparatus Rings is known for his explosive strength moves.
He won gold in 2005 at the world championship Melbourne, silver in 2007, bronze in 2006 and 3 european championships.
Yuri was also named netherlands athlete of the year in 2005.
With his own named skill the Van Gelder(planche or maltese) - backlever - (planche or maltese) he made himself a legend of the sport and his name will live forever trough the bodies of others.
He often got criticised because of certain issues but his passion/discipline for the sport speaks for it self. "The Rings don't lie"
