Green River Adventure

If ever there was a bucket list fly-fishing trip, this was it. Not Patagonia, not Kamchatka, but the Green River, below the Flaming Gorge Dam, just outside of Dutch John, Utah. The trip was arranged through Kiene’s Fly Shop in Sacramento, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. For three days, we fished in sun, in rain, in driving hail and booming thunderstorms, yet the fishing was incredible, matched only by the beauty of the scenery, and the gorgeous Browns and Bows.
