This 6ft tall painting took over 45 hours and one month's time to create.

I am more than excited to be releasing the 4th painting in my celebrity series! It is rare in this world that a singular person can be credited with changing the course of history and there is no doubt Laverne has done this for the LGBTQ community. She uses her position in the spotlight to give Trans people a voice and a person to root for onscreen. We need to share the message of acceptance, love, and equality with one another if we want to continue to follow in her footsteps.

As you might have picked up, when I pose for the final image I like to dress like or represent the person in the painting in some way with my outfit. To symbolize Laverne, I chose to dress with bravery. In this photo, I chose to wear my favorite beauty make up and wear some of my favorite clothing which were not originally made/sold for my gender. It is wild to me that things as simple as clothing or powder are designated to one gender or another. And it's people like Laverne Cox that give us the bravery to ignore these limitations and be our best, truest selves. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
