Shot of the pitch and crowds. 1950 Liverpool v Arsenal final. C/U of cheering crowds. Team collect the cup from King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The crowd congratulate the team. Press photographers. Draw for third round. Balls are drawn from a black bag and placed into a rack.



Carlisle v Arsenal highlights. Shots of fans. Arsenal v Manchester United. Fans wave rattles. Burkett is carried off exhausted. Blackpool v Fulham. Funny antics on the side of the pitch. A man walks along wearing stockings and suspenders and a man walks on stilts. A duck wearing a tiny football scarf waddles along. People in fancy dress. Handball and penalty are shown. Newcastle v Bristol Rovers. Mascot dog is led from tunnel by team. Girl fan waving a rattle and grinning. A fan dressed as a pirate.



Birmingham v Blackpool. Casualties in a crowd at Hillsborough because of a crush in the stands. St John's Ambulance man attends to a shocked fan. Newcastle v Wolves (Wolverhampton Wanderers) - no score result. Replay.



Man in fancy dress as a newsreel cameraman. The "Blackpool duck" (as seen earlier). Birmingham v Blackpool. Referee needs confirmation of a goal and consults with a linesman. Blackpool and Newcastle United will play the final. Narrator poses questions as to who might win the cup. Shots of people leaving or arriving at Wembley. Rosette pinned to a woman's coat.
