Hey everyone! We made this fan film “Ellie’s Return” for FUN, with a budget of $1600. This was a passion project from everyone involved. It’s not a contest or million dollar Hollywood production. We dedicated our own time and resources to make this because we LOVE to make art. This wasn’t created to appease any one person, it was made for the sake of creativity and fandom.

As a community, we should empower anyone who makes art inspired by the game!

When thinking of HBO, there’s definitely an elephant in the room. Some people hated their Ellie… some people loved her… And at the end of the day, it’s not THAT serious. And if you think it is, do something about it. Go make your own film that’s “BETTER”.

So whether you choose to support us or not, we made this film because we LOVE to create. Art is subjective, so any opinion you have is valid - just DO something about it. Instead of leaving a comment that’s disrespectful or mean, go blow us away and make your own film!
