Monchique to Foggy Mt. Foia - Portugal Ch.3

They say that April's a summer month in the Algarve. But for the next four minutes it's going to be cloudy and foggy! Since I've never ridden in cloud, it's time I went up a mountain and enveloped myself in that cool vapour.

Starting at Caldas de Monchique, an ancient spa town, in the foothills of Portugal's southwesternmost mountain range I ambulate on two wheels toward the top of Serra de Monichique. Normally, Algarve highest peak at some 1,000 meters, spoils you with views of the Atlantic but not today. It will a few vlogs later though.
