CASHCO Pressure vacuum relief valve or breather valve
The pressure vacuum relief valve (PVRV) is a type of valve used to control or limit the pressure or vacuum in a system or vessel which can build up for a process upset, instrument or equipment failure, or fire.

Pressure vacuum relief valve are also known as breather valve and are low pressure device. PVRV works during normal venting operation. Normal venting refers to relieve excess pressure caused by liquid filling a tank ( pump in ) and to relieve vacuum that results from liquid being removed from a
tank (Pump out).

Cashco offer two types of PVRV vents
1. Direct-Acting Vent
• weight-load vents ( 3000 series )
• spring-loaded vents ( 4000 series )
2. Pilot Operated Vents ( 5000 series )

Cashco Tank blanketing valve

Tank blanketing, also referred to as tank padding or make up, is the process of applying blanket of an inert gas (nitrogen) in the vapour space above the liquid in a closed storage tank. Inert gas blanketing valve works as primary vacuum relief. The inert gas is supplied at a required pressure during pump off or thermal contraction events in order to prevent air and moisture from entering into the tank and thus control and prevent the fire. The other common names for N2 Blanketing valve are Inert gas blanketing valve and low pressure reducing valve.

Cashco offer two types of tank blanketing valves:
• Spring operated valve ( Model 1088 )
• Pilot operated valve ( Model 1078 )

Emergency Relief valve or manhole

Emergency venting or gauge hatch required when an abnormal condition, such as ruptured internal heating coils or an external fire, exists either inside or outside a tank.
It operates when relief capacity exceeds normal vent capacity.
