And back in #Wuhan, where it all began, the city has converted stadiums and gyms into makeshift hospitals. Footage from inside the hospital shows grim living conditions.

No medicine provided, no hot water around, and the bathroom is 200 meters away. Videos circulating on the internet tell of the horrible living conditions inside Wuhan's makeshift hospitals, where facilities were set up by the city for coronavirus patients who have mild symptoms.

"I thought I could recover after being transferred to this hospital. Now it looks like I made a mistake."

The woman in the video says there is no isolation between patients. She worries about potential cross-infection.

"Save me! Tell the world!"

The designated hospitals in Wuhan now only accept #coronavirus patients who are critically ill. Those with mild symptoms are all transferred to makeshift hospitals converted from stadiums or conference centers. There are now 11 such hospitals, which together hold over ten thousand beds. But in footage from one of the makeshift hospitals, a patient says she hasn't seen any doctors for three days; and patients who arrived later don’t even have a proper bed - they sleep on a mattress on the floor.
