Point Lobos is called the crown jewel of the coastal parks in the California State Park System. Rich in hiking trails with breathtaking views of Monterey Pine and Cypress trees as well as the rugged northern California coast. This is a must-see if in the Carmel area. It is located about 3 miles south of Carmel and is on Highway 1 which is the road to Big Sur. You could easily spend an afternoon enjoying this scenic gem.
