In Paris, an eager young police officer named Michael is tasked with infiltrating a local Tamil gang that's funneling money to the freedom fighters back home in Sri Lanka. Undercover, he finds a community in the raucous friendships of the group and a mentor in the form of Aya, an aging veteran who leads the operation.
