There is a lot of fear among people about blood cancer, but the success rate of blood cancer treatment is high, provided it is detected early. In this video, Dr Rohit Swami, Consultant, Medical Oncology (Cancer), Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Jaipur, talks about the high recovery rate from blood cancer in children and adults.

In kids and adults, blood cancer can be of two types- Leukemia, which occurs in the blood and Lymphoma, which results in tumours in the chest, abdomen, and neck region. In kids, the chances of recovery with chemotherapy are about 95 percent, while in adults, it is 80 percent. Timely detection is key to a higher rate of recovery.
