The Nepal constitution grants rights to LGBTIQA+ individuals under Articles 12, 18, and 42. However, despite these legal provisions, members of the LGBTIQA+ community continue to encounter stigma and discrimination from their families, society, and authorities. Through dance and drama, this event highlights the specific types of stigma and discrimination faced by the LGBTIQA+ community. Supported by the British Council's Gender Grants Programme and organized by Sudur Paschim Samaj, this initiative aims to raise awareness and foster dialogue on this pressing issue.
