Welcome friends to my new vlog Today I'm going to show you beautiful Turkish city Trabzon.I will show you in this vlog city tour and near by scinic places in Trabzon city.

Sumela Monastery :

Sumela Monastery is a Greek Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Theotokos located at Karadağ within the Pontic Mountains, in the Maçka district of Trabzon Province in modern Turkey. 

According to one historian, the monastery was founded by two priests, Barnabas and Sophronius, from Athens during the reign of the Emperor Theodosius I (AD 375-395). It was later restored in the 6th century by General Belisarius at the request of the Emperor Justinian.

The Rock Church is the core of Sumela Monastery complex, and its oldest and most historic part. This is the place where the icon is supposed to have been found; it was formed by carving into the cave, smoothing the surfaces and closing the mouth of the cave with a straight wall.
Among the important parts of Sumela Monastery are student rooms, a library, a sacred spring of Orthodox Greeks, a guest house, a kitchen, a chapel and the main rock church. All elements are positioned in a broad area. At the side of the cliff is a large aqueduct of water supply.

Sera lake:

It is one of the most stunning natural beauty places, located in Akcaabat, Trabzon, on the Black Sea. Sera Lake is 18 km from Trabzon International Airport and 12 km from the city center. The lake is the first destination for all tourists and a beautiful natural painting, as tourists believe.

No wonder the lake is the tourists’ stop to enjoy rural and mountain areas. Apart from having various kinds of fish, the lake is surrounded by green mountains, adding more glamour and magic, mainly in the morning during sun rising and in the evening during sunsetting.

Akçaabat district:

Akçaabat is a town and district of Trabzon Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is located to the west of the city of Trabzon. It covers an area of 385 km² and the elevation is ten metres. The town has an estimated population of 48,315.

Akçaabat National Garden project area is parallel to Trabzon Samsun Highway, 1 km from Akcaabat city center and 11.5 km from Trabzon city center
