UNIVERSAL AUDIO RUBY '63 - GIBSON LESPAUL DELUXE 80 - demo by Sylvain Gambini

Today, we present the excellent UNIVERSAL AUDIO RUBY '63 preamp. This UAFX Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier faithfully captures the iconic sound of the 1960s VOX AC30 tube amps, delivering the famous 'British Invasion Sound.' The session is performed by the French guitarist Sylvain Gambini.

In our demonstration, the RUBY '63 is connected to the return of the effects loop of a FENDER Supersonic 22W amplifier, which is itself connected to a Tube Town cab equipped with an EVM12L Classic speaker, an exact replica of the MESA Thiele. Sylvain plays a fantastic 1980 GIBSON Les Paul Deluxe, equipped with stock Gibson mini humbuckers.
The mix is polished in Cubase, with the delay coming from the UNIVERSAL AUDIO Galaxy Tape Echo plugin.
