PLOT:
Naomi and Gabe start talking together at Mateo's Royal Wizard ceremony. They just met but still form a strong connection. Over the years they save each other many times and know to always rely on each other on adventures.
When Naomi prepares to leave for her big voyage she still has to think of Gabe. She didn't want to say goodbye in case he could be able to change her mind and stay in Avalor. Gabe sees her leave and is disappointed. He felt the growing romance between them during the Norberg Lights and was convinced that she felt the same. Naomi explains that she still wants to have a family one day, but wants to experience the freedom of the sea first, trying out both lifestyles of her parents. Gabe understands how important this self-discovery is for Naomi and wishes her luck with a heavy heart.
Her return is all the sweeterand he is overjoyed that she decides to stay after another mission to stop the giant Kazim.
They fall back in their old rhythm, teasing each other, laughing together and saving each other from danger, fighting as a team.
When Scarlet returns from another journey, she has fully accepted Gabe as her future son-in-law, an honorary member of the Turner family ever since Family Day in Norberg. She is delighted to be greeted with a welcome dance by the couple and happily joins in with Daniel.
After the Shade War, right before the Coronation Ball, Gabe picks up Naomi from her parents and is stunned by her new dress. Scarlet gives them a hint to dance together at the ball, making their courtship official and they practice the steps to her imprompu fiddle accomplishment while Daniel teaches Gabe some steps of the Norberg Jig.
