The Review:
Pour : 3 finger head off white spongey head, that lasted a long time with some beautiful thick lacing.
Color: Hazy Med Golden Amber SRM-6
Aroma: Flawless Aromatics for this style! Starts of with a plethora of sweet citrus, grapefruit, orange, with hints of orange peel, light pineapple, very faint mango.
Taste: This beer has a nice smooth character with just enough of a malts backbone to balance the bittering. From the malts you get a extremely faint hint of toasted bread notes. From the hops which are dominate comes blasts of citrus fruits grapefruit, orange, faint pineapple & extremely faint mango. It finishes with a slight bitterness that linger slightly & it's almost to the point of mouth puckering. This is a an outstanding example of a New England IPA.
Body: Medium Body leaning towards heavy. Medium Heavy carbonation, leaning towards heavy.
Overall: A citrusy Juice Bomb IPA. Nice grapefruit, orange, pineapple, & mango fruit with a just the right amount of malt backbone to help balance the Citra Hops. The Perfect New England IPA experience. A great IPA to enjoy on its own or with a meal
Value: In my opinion it is worth $12 for a 6 pack 12 oz cans $46 for a Case 24 12 oz cans.

Ingredients:
Malt:
2 Row Barley Malt German - Pilsner malt is a German, lager-style base malt produced from high-quality, 2-row spring barley. It contributes a pale-straw color to wort and adds mild, malty-sweet flavor with gentle notes of honey. A very flexible grain with high extract efficiency, it exhibits excellent lautering properties and yields optimum results for any brewing process from the simplest to the most complicated mashing regimen. The malt also provides the finished beer with substantial body and mouth feel, as well as good foam development and head retention. Well-suited for use with any beer style.
Adjunct Ingredients:
Flaked Oats. 2.5 L - Oats present a had a lighter color, smooth body & improved mouth feel. Improved head & head retention, thus better lacing. Also adds a slight haze. Can produce an oats flavor if used in larger amounts.
Hops:
Citra Hops- This hop is used for its aromatic properties and moderate bittering. It has aromas that are citrus (grapefruit), orange, pineapple, mango. earthy, and floral. Aroma: Specific aroma descriptors include citrus grapefruit and geranium.
Yeast :
Similar to - Characteristics of London Ale III (1318) Wyeast Labs Originating from a traditional London brewery, this yeast has a wonderful malt and hop profile. It is a true top cropping strain with a fruity, very light and softly balanced palate. This strain will finish slightly sweet. Additionally in my opinion this yeast produces a Juicer Juice Bomb Than American Ale Yeast Wyeast 1056. That's Backwoods Billy's Opinion...
