ABSTRACT: Hand Gesture and voice control 4 wheel robot using Raspberry pi and pi camara
The main aim of this project is to design a hand gestured and voice-controlled robot using raspberry pi zero by using Android mobile phone. The controlling of robot is done wirelessly through Android smart phone over Bluetooth feature present in it. Here in this project the Android smart phone with Bluetooth app is used as a remote control for operating the robot.

Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. Android boasts a healthy array of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and wireless data over a cellular connection (for example, GPRS, EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution), and 3G). Android provides access to a wide range of useful libraries and tools that can be used to build rich applications. In addition, Android includes a full set of tools that have been built from the ground up alongside the platform providing developers with high productivity and deep insight into their applications.
Bluetooth is an open standard specification for a radio frequency (RF)-based, short-range connectivity technology that promises to change the face of computing and wireless communication. It is designed to be an inexpensive, wireless networking system for all classes of portable devices, such as laptops, PDAs (personal digital assistants), and mobile phones. It also will enable wireless connections for desktop computers, making connections between monitors, printers, keyboards, and the CPU cable-free.
App through user can control the robot over Bluetooth by using android mobile phone. App consists of two modes one is voice and two is gestured. This device is portable and this system operation is entirely driven by wireless Bluetooth technology. User can wear mobile to his wrist like a watch and user control the robot through voice or gesture. This data is received by Bluetooth module which is interfaced to the raspberry pi zero then raspberry pi judges whether the instruction is right movement or left movement or front, back, and stop instruction and controls the direction of robot respectively. pi camera is connected to raspberry pi zero 2w for visual purposes. The raspberry pi zero is interfaced with two dc motors along with l293d motor driver to control the direction of the robot. The raspberry pi zero 2w loaded with an intelligent program written in python language.


The major building blocks of the project are:
 Battery power supply.
 Raspberry pi zero 2w.
 HC-05 Bluetooth module.
 DC motors with l293d motor driver.
 SD card.
 LED indicator.
 Pi camera.

Software’s used:
1. Python language.
2. Linux OS.
3. Express SCH for Circuit design.
