Dank Hunt

Dank Hunt is from Dank House Brewing Company out of Newark, Ohio. I picked this beer up at the Beer Zone in Columbus, Ohio. This is the first beer store I have found in the Columbus area that actually ahs a great selection of beer. Dank Hunt is a Triple IPA. This beer poured out a very chalk white with a dirty white head. As soon as I opened the can I was hit with an acrid pot smell. Upon sticking my nose in the glass the smell became a mix of weed and hops. It was very dank and reminded me of the smell of Sweetwater 420 G13 Strain. The body was bizarre. It starts out watery, then builds up to a medium body in the mouth and finished watery. The flavors were exactly as the beer smelled. Dank, acrid weed, slightly creamy with very little bitterness. The taste also reminded me of the G13 Strain. There was no indication whatsoever that this was a big 10% alcohol beer. I didn't want to like this beer and only bought it for the can art but i ended up loving it. This is a crackin beer I would buy again. $6.99 a can for a 16 ounce of 10% beer is a good deal.
