TOMFOOLERY RELATED TO SLOTH

All right, so, on the Wikipedia page for the seven deadly sins, there's the following claim: "Acēdia is negative form of the Greek term κηδεία ('Kēdeia'), which has a more restricted usage. 'Kēdeia' refers specifically to spousal love and respect for the dead. The positive term 'kēdeia' thus indicates love for one's family, even through death." When I read this, I thought it was really cool - after all, if this is true, then Sloth would also be related to Ed and Al trying to bring their mom back to life, as that could be seen as a lack of respect for the dead. But, alas, I followed the sources cited on Wikipedia and I couldn't find something talking about this. I then followed up with one of my Patrons, Conrad, who I thought might be able to help me with this, and he reached out to a PhD friend of his who he thought might know something about these terms. Unfortunately, the PhD wasn't certain, and I'd already spent too much time trying to confirm this, so I had to stop looking. Even so, it was cool enough that I wanted to at least mention it in the video, but I also didn't want to give the sense that this is definitely true. As such, I decided to leave it in as a little throw-away, kinda joke section, and to put text leading you here, to this very paragraph your eyes glide over now. Anyway, thank you to the one person who cared to read this. Bless ya.
