Chhattisgarh: CRPF sets up medical camp in Naxal hotbed in Bijapur's Gundam village

Central Reserve Police Force established a security camp at Gundam village in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur. The camp, which includes a medical facility, is providing essential healthcare services to the local villagers. It has become a lifeline for local villagers who previously had no nearby hospitals or healthcare services. It also offers timely healthcare services addressing a critical gap in the region. Earlier, villagers faced significant challenges in accessing treatment for illnesses due to the absence of hospitals in nearby areas. Now, they receive quick treatment and proper care after the establishing the camp. Notably, Gundam village, once considered a Naxal training hub, has been under CRPF control since February 14 this year, marking a significant victory against insurgency in the area. The establishment of CRPF camp reflects a strategic move to reclaim territory and rebuild trust with local communities.
