I’ve been trying to connect my pc with my mobile hotspot via USB tethering but realised the USB tethering options is greyed out or cannot be turned on even after connecting my cable to pc and mobile.

Step 1: Enabling Developer Mode / Options
Developer Options -- Networking Tab -- Tethering Hardware Acceleration -- On Ensure in Default USB configuration -- USB tethering

Step 2: Connect usb cable to both ends and job done.
