Seiko(sha) Trench Mod

This started as a genuine trench watch, made in the period of the First World War. The movement had a column escapement that needed some work. Column escapements were one of the various types of balances used in mechanical watches all through the 19th and very early 20th centuries that had ultimately become obsolete.
Suffice it to say that with an unknown movement and escapement I have no experience with I did not feel up to the task of servicing or even knowing how to source the necessary parts. Instead I did this 😁😁 Hope you like it.
